Project Coordination

Project Coordination are nowadays often working across multiple projects. A result of this is that gathering and sharing of information can become quite a time consuming challenge with multiple projects and project participants, principals, financiers and other parties with an interest in the projects. The Project Coordinator has to, on top of all this, coordinate and monitor project performance for all projects. Many projects may experience that project coordination which consists of handling, sharing and storing documents by email can cause severe problems with access to information as well as having different versions of the same document in circulation. Email is also often used to book and schedule meetings and workshops.

Other matters of common interest regardless of who you are and what kind of project you work with are project security and project management. Many projects need securely stored documentation and information as well as control over the access rights to certain project documentation.
Project management with planning, scheduling and following up the project's work, results and budget, are project coordination tasks that many Project Coordinators need to delegate.

Participants can share a common document archive and quickly create a knowledge bank for the workgroup/project and work according to a common project plan. You can access the same meeting calendar and share project news, developments and results.

Project CoordinatorŽ stores documents, information, usernames and passwords encrypted and the portal administrator can easily set the access rights of every project member. A WP Leader/Project Manager has the capability to manage the co-workers´ input and participation in different project phases/activities. He/she can share information, monitor and give feed-back on the progress of the project and manage temporary participation of third-parties. The WP Leader/Project Manager can also give public exposition to the achieved results, plan project phases and activities with a detailed time planning and has the possibility to generate reports on activities, phases, resources, contacts and all other parts in the project planning.
