Briefingboard

You are here

The help description for the Briefingboard is equal for room and lobby location, therefore the room/lobby notification is used in the description.

The Briefingboard in a room/lobby is shown when you have logged in and then choose a room/lobby. You can also reach it by clicking Briefingboard under Coordination & Collaboration .

When you are in the Briefingboard, the main window is split in four parts containing:

  1.   Meetings
Shows meetings specific to the room/lobby. The meetings in the list can be sorted by Day, Week, Month, Year and All (Month is default) by clicking the corresponding word. From here you can also open and edit meetings provided that you are meeting convenor or Administrator in the room/lobby.
  2.   Activities
In this table you can see the planned activities. Here you can also sort by Day, Week, Month, Year and All by clicking the corresponding word (here Day is default) and open/edit activities. You must have the role planner to be able to edit activities. All activities are shown with two lamps; one for time and one for cost. The lamps can assume the colors green, yellow and red. Green lamp indicates that time and cost are within 80% of the estimated. Yellow lamp indicates that time and cost are within 80-100% of the estimated. Red lamp indicates that time and cost are above the estimated. If an activity is finished and hasn't exceeded the estimated time and cost, the lamps will always be green.
  3.   News*/Messages
Here you can see the published news and RSS feeds in the room/lobby. You can read them by clicking on the headlines shown in the view. *NOTE: From version 2.2.0 you can see all messages that you have sent or received concerning the project here.
  4.   Event log
The event log shows current events for the room/lobby. The event log can be sorted by Day, Week, Month, Year and All (Month is default). Some example of events are new, changed and updated folders, documents, images, meetings, activities etc. You can see what has happened with the event by clicking on the shortcut in the event log.
